The TP-LINK Load Balance Broadband Router uses an Intel IXP core, provides a 100M fiber module expansion slot (shared with WAN1
port, only for TL-R4000+). Complies with IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u standards. One of the main differences that the TP-LINK Load
Balance Broadband Router has from an ordinary router is that it has multiple WAN ports (2 WAN ports for TL-R480T+ and TL-R4000+; 4
WAN ports for TL-R488T). The Load Balance Broadband Router provides double-bandwidth access for users, and is able to backup
connections automatically in case of failures among the WAN ports. If one Internet connection goes down, the other automatically
takes control to ensure continuous network uptime. Network Administrators can specify priority channels according to source or
destination IP addresses, distributing Internet resources and services flexibly from different ISPs.
